Highlights from Recent Financial Literacy Event | Alabama Housing Finance Authority
June 06, 2022
On April 30, AHFA hosted an “Needs vs. Wants” class in support of its Financial Literacy campaign announced earlier in the month. Children related to AHFA staff members were invited to attend the class that featured a “Down Home on the Farm” theme. They had a great time learning about needs versus wants and good saving habits.
We have created a video presenting highlights from the event, including special interviews with some of the kids about what they learned and enjoyed about the event. We look forward to creating more Financial Literacy resources and will continue to keep our audiences informed about these important efforts.
