2021 Funding Approvals | Alabama Housing Finance Authority

On September 24, AHFA announced the 19 multifamily housing developments selected by its board of directors to receive awards of 2021 HOME Investment Partnerships Program funds and/or Low-Income Housing Tax Credits.
Of the approved applications, 12 are for new construction, and 7 are for the acquisition/rehabilitation of existing housing stock. A total of 1,011 housing units are expected to be built or renovated.
AHFA also announced that one of those projects, The Villas at York in Birmingham, would receive $1.3 million in National Housing Trust Funds.
